CGRJ is a publisher of peer-reviewed, open-access journals published in Canada with a strong African directorate based in Africa. Our mission is to promote research and knowledge sharing on special needs education.

Reviewers Guide

Reviewer Responsibilities

 

Reviewers play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and validity of articles published our journals. We expect reviewers to:

- Assess the manuscript's relevance, originality, and contribution to the field

- Evaluate the manuscript's methodology, data analysis, and conclusions

- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement

 

Review Criteria

 

When evaluating manuscripts, reviewers should consider the following criteria:

 

- Relevance and significance to the field

- Originality and contribution to existing knowledge

- Methodological soundness and data quality

- Clarity, coherence, and writing style

- Adherence to journal guidelines and formatting requirements

 

Confidentiality

 

Reviewers are expected to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose any information about the manuscript or its contents to anyone.


Processing Fee

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

 

We charge a processing fee for articles that have been accepted for publication. The APC is used to cover the costs associated with peer review, editing, and publishing.

 

1) Conceptual Article: $300 (CAD) for authors from Canada and $200 (USD) for authors from other countries

 

2) Empirical Article: $400 (CAD) for authors from Canada and $250 (USD) for authors from other countries

 

3) Case Study: $350 (CAD) for authors from Canada and $250 (USD) for authors from other countries

 

Waivers and Discounts

 

We offer awaivers and discounts to authors from low-income countries, students, and researchers with limited funding. Please contact the editorial office for more information.
